SIM STARS 2023
In association with the SSWHG, UCC College of Medicine and Health and ASSERT we are pleased to bring you the details of the SimStars 2023 Live Final Event. The event will be hosted in Brookfield Health Science Complex on Tuesday the 6th of June at 5.30pm.
Five qualifying teams from across the SSWHG have undertaken the design of a simulation scenario encompassing this year’s theme of “Communication” and will get the opportunity to show their work, live from the simulation suite in ASSERT.
We are delighted to have Professor Marian Traynor from Queens University Belfast as a guest speaker on the night. Professor Traynor is the Associate Dean of Education, School of Nursing and Midwifery at Queens University Belfast and she has an interest in Interprofessional Education through Simulation. She was a keynote speaker on the topic at the recent Irish Association for Simulation Conference.
Food will be served from 5.30pm with simulations beginning at 6.30pm. There will be spot prizes for audience members, and we hope you will join us in a night of simulation, interprofessional scenarios and most importantly fun.
