Neonatal Resuscitation Simulation Training

Cork University Maternity Hospital in conjunction with the ASSERT Centre, UCC, will be facilitating neonatal resuscitation training using a High Fidelity “Smart” mannequin and various simulated scenarios.

Participants will be asked to take part in a simulated resuscitation using a “smart” mannequin which will be able to provide real time feedback of vital signs, responses etc. The resuscitation will be recorded to provide visual feedback to participants following the session.  Sessions will include teams of 3-4 staff (depending on scenario and staff availability), including 2 neonatal doctors and 1 or 2 midwives / nurses.
